Anoushka Shankar

Anoushka Shankar is an American-born British sitarist and musician. She was the first and the first woman to be awarded an award from the British House of Commons Shield she's had Nine Grammy Awards nominations and was the first musician of Indian of Indian descent to perform live on stage and also serve as a presenter at the ceremony. Anoushka Shankar is the hottest young star of sitar music. Indian sitar. She is the student and child of Ravi Shankar. Born in London, she spent the early years of her life bouncing between London and New Delhi. At New Delhi, she made her debut when she was only thirteen years of age. In the following years the same year, in Encinitas CA she attended high school and graduated with distinction in 1999.
