Taylor-Swift
Taylor Swift, full Taylor Alison Swift. American singer/songwriter who's achieved huge popularity with her stories that she shares about her childhood heartbreak. Swift's love for music started when she was a young age. From children's plays to performing before thousands, Swift made rapid progress. As Swift sang The Star-Spangled Banner in front of the Philadelphia 76ers at a game at the age of 11. She was already composing songs. After that, she started playing the guitar. Swift was inspired by artists in country music such as Shania Twain, the Dixie Chicks and, more recently, the Chicks to come up with original songs which reflected the alienation she experienced at 13 years old. Swift was 13 when her parents decided to sell their Pennsylvania farm to relocate towards Hendersonville Tennessee. She could then devote all of her energy to approaching label labels from the country scene in Nashville.
